Skywatch Friday

Posting early as it now seems certain we are about to be hit hard by a snow blizzard and high winds, so we have been warned of power outages here tomorrow!

These sunsets are a treat from heaven. They inspire us to write poetry and compose music! Thanks for this and thanks for your visit and comment. Have a great weekend.

Wonderful sunset photos. I hope the blizzard didn't materialize.
Thanks for visiting my site. the "house" is the extended family "cabin" on Whidbey Island. It is strictly a recreational property, shared by nine households. We are the official gardeners. We also garden and live in Seattle.

That is an ominous looking sky. Hopefully a storm didn't find its way to your neighborhood. Lovely brilliant colors...enjoy the weekend.

If you're posting Sky Watch on Tuesday, that must be one helluva storm about to come down on you!

Keep your head down and stay warm. This photo should help. It's beautiful!

Wow, what awesome photos you have here! I always love the "big sky" photos, and seem to have quite a few of them myself. I never tire of the new cloud formations, and how I can see forever and ever. Even the storms hold a strange fascination for me.

I think your transition from the UK to the rural land of OK is a larger transition than mine however! :)

What a stunning sunset. That flat horizon and the endless colours in the sky are quite breathtaking to someone like me accustomed to seeing a hill in the way!
