Mrs. Squirrel

My first two assignments for the 'Understanding Exposure' course I am taking with Bryan Peterson for the next 8 weeks. My task was to take a portrait with depth of field and a picture showing movement.

I love LOVE Mrs. Squirrel in #1! Not sure #2 is the type of movement teacher is after? Keep me posted on this, I am all eyes and ears!!!! Can't wait to see what you do next.

I need a lesson in taking photos with movement - 2 of our grandsons race stock cars!

Great job with Mrs. Squirrel's portrait!

Pam, just got my critique from Bryan on these. He said Mrs. Squirrel is a perfect picture and loved how the face popped.

And the action shot he also praised, as he thought the comparison between the movement of the upper body when compared to the sharp foot, was very cool.

Now onto assignment 2!

Hmmmm. Interesting. My take on it would have been like a dog running in mid-stride or horse at full gallop; something like that for motion. I suppose the art is controlling the blur, and as along as the teacher loves it; yay for A's!

BTW, I think if coming from Facebook, then that is where the word verification is screwing up for me in being able to leave a comment. Tried it both ways and coming to the real page worked great.
